“Setting a Standard of Excellence in Corporate Fitness & Wellness"

Organizing a health fair once a year, or offering employees a stress management program is a nice gesture to employees but is not enough to make a measurable impact on the overall health of employees. We will help you maximize your investment by carefully planning, promoting, and implementing a wellness program that is affordable and generates results. No matter how well a program may be designed, if few people participate, the overall results are ineffective. Some corporate wellness programs result in participation rates as low as 10-15%. We take the time to plan for increased participation and have received an exceptional 80% and above participation rate in our corporate programs. We use strategies such as building interest in advance, demonstrating value to employees, creating events that are fun and motivational, and providing extra incentives for participation. Below is an example of one of our most popular corporate wellness packages that encompasses these strategies.

Some Recent Testimonials...

"Our company was looking for a wellness Program that would give our employees the tools to think about wellness as a "whole" not just an exercise. When we first met Roxayn from Transformations Fitness, it was evident right away that she was qualified to offer the kind of program that we wanted but also that she genuinely cared about people. Roxayn helped us develop a comprehensive program that helped motivate employees and give them the tools to change their lifestyle through exercise, nutrition, etc.... The program certainly encouraged our employees to make changes. I would certainly recommend Roxayn and her team to anyone interested in implementing a similar type of program for their organization. Roxayn is very committed and dedicated to what she does and to the people she serves. We look forward to working with her again in the future."  -- Grace Moran (3M Touch Systems Human Resources Coordinator)

"The Transformations Fitness corporate fitness & wellness program was terrific! The information and suggestions provided were easy and practical to implement. The weekly handouts were particularly interesting because they stepped through a holistic approach to personal wellness including information not only on exercise, but nutrition, stress management, and relationships as well.  Roxayn's sincere and energetic manner is contagious and it really motivates you. Another great thing about the corporate program was that my co-workers who took the challenege formed a kind of informal support group. Instead of coffee, we had our morning discussions over a protein shake or "green drink!" And the best thing is that you see noticeable results and feel a whole lot more lively in a relatively short period of time. Not only have I impoved my body fat percentage from 19.7% to 12.4% in just 4 months, but I also feel stronger, less tired, and can concentrate better in my night classes." -- James Lota (Engineer, 3 M Touch Systems, Corporate Fitness Runner-up)

"Great program! It really worked for me.... The results from the body composition test scared me. It motivated me to get my act in gear and start taking better care of my body. I learned that 'walking the dog" really isn't exercise. I began an effective exercise program and changed my diet in many ways....My commitment is to continue down this path." -- Gina Wipf (Gina lost 25 pounds of bodyfat and gained 4 pounds of muscle during a 12 week fitness & wellness program and was a Corporate Fitness Challenge Overall Winner)

Why Corporate Wellness?

One of the most important shifts in the corporate world in recent years has been a growing commitment to employee wellness incentives and programs. More and more companies of all sizes are discovering that investing in the fitness and wellness of employees delivers many benefits and simply makes good business sense. After all, your employees are your most important assets.

You want employees to enjoy their work and bring the best of themselves to work every day. Encouraging employees to embrace a healthy fitness lifestyle creates a more productive workforce and an increase in customer satisfaction.

On the other hand, the price tag of unhealthy, sedentary lifestyles are fatigue, depression, negative attitudes, frequent illness, and an increased risk of more serious medical problems. These issues don’t only affect individuals and their personal life, they greatly affect employee productivity at work and ultimately, the success of your organization.

It would be nice if employees would take the initiative and pursue healthy fitness lifestyles on their own. However, the reality is that many people may have had no previous education or support in this area, and a corporate wellness program may offer the kickstart that is needed!

The Benefits

A growing body of evidence suggests that effectively run corporate fitness and wellness programs result in the following benefits

Reduced absenteeism
Increased productivity
Increased employee health and energy levels
Improved self-confidence
Improvement in morale and camaraderie amongst

       employees
Enhanced creativity and ability to concentrate
Decreased stress levels
Reduced employee turnover
Decreased injuries and health problems, and

decreased  disability and worker’s compensation costs
Enhanced recruitment potential

How can small to medium sized companies on a smaller budget incorporate a fitness and wellness program?

While many larger organizations are reaping the rewards of long-term fitness and wellness initiatives, smaller businesses don’t have the funds to set up corporate fitness facilities, full-time personal training supervision, or some of the other programs that larger corporations implement. However, small business owners should realize that even the smallest steps can have a ripple effect and be very worthwhile. A good place to start is with some education. Invite a speaker to address a topic related to health, nutrition, or fitness once a month. Or have a personal trainer come in and perform body composition testing or complete a personalized diet analysis and nutrition program for employees. Work with a fitness professional to set-up a training program with incentives for employees and periodically come in to monitor results. Or offer a personal training program to employees where the employees and the company share costs. Small businesses can further reduce costs by forming joint partnerships with other small businesses in offering some of these types of programs.
